The event will be hosted in online space via Zoom. You don't need the Zoom app to join the meeting.
The talks and moderation will be in English with English subtitles. To turn on subtitles in zoom look for “CC” or “Show Captions” button in the meeting toolbar.
You can join whenever you want. Between 9:30 and 10 am there will be time for you to get comfy during the a soft opening, and at 10 we will start with the program of the event.
There will be two ten minute breakes.
No prior registration is required.
The event will be recorded. If you cannot attend or want to revisit what happened, the recording will soon be published on this website.

We want to create a space where everyone feels welcome. To help us hold that space, we created a code of care - a document that describes how we wish to meet and learn together.

Pernilla Manjula Philip (she/her) explores chronic illness as both a lived reality and a field of research. Drawing on her own experience, she examines do-it-yourself/together and open-source medical tools that raise questions of vulnerability, shared resilience, and power. Her work highlights how unofficial practices can challenge dominant medical narratives, while also asking who shapes medical knowledge and what counts as safety. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches in art education and is a member of Crip The Curriculum.

simo_tier (it/they) is a multi-media artist and activist, influenced by its lived reality as a disabled, Indigenous, agender, white, gay, AuDHD femme. It is deeply passionate about lifting up and supporting QTBIPoC voices and projects, as well as breaking down barriers to create a community based on Disability Justice and reformative change. It is living, working, and studying in Berlin.
